How Much of Claude for Small Business Works in Taiwan? 37 Connectors and 43 Workflows, Checked One by One

The short answer: the design of Claude for Small Business is worth learning from, especially the rule that every action waits for the owner's approval by default. But it was built around the tool chain of a small US company. A small shop in Taiwan that installs it can in theory connect the marketing, customer-service and document half, while for the payments, payroll and invoicing half the vendors' own documentation says Taiwan is not supported.
Below is the item-by-item check. Every number and quotation comes from Anthropic's official pages and each tool's own documentation, and claims from secondary coverage are labelled as such. What it is
On 15 September 2026 Anthropic expanded Claude for Small Business. In its words, it now includes 43 workflows and 27 new integrations, naming Shopify, Salesforce, TikTok, Atlassian, Zoom, Xero, Gusto, Square, Stripe and Zapier. The full connector list has 37 entries.
Three numbers that are often misquoted:

It runs in Cowork, Claude's desktop environment. From 16 September Cowork is merging with chat into one Claude and rolling out to web and mobile, but Anthropic says Pro and Max come first and Team and Free "will follow soon". Team is the plan Anthropic recommends for multi-person companies, so for them it is still desktop first for now.
What the 43 workflows do
The plugin page splits them into two groups. Command names are copied as written:
Run the business: /monday-brief (cash, sales, to-dos and the one thing that most needs you, on one page), /close-month (reconcile and prepare month-end materials for your accountant), /plan-payroll (check there is cash for payroll, chase overdue invoices, stage payroll for you to submit), /pay-the-bills, /restock, /tax-prep.
Grow the business: /speed-to-lead (reply to new enquiries in the evening and at weekends, offer real bookable times and log it in the CRM), /grow-pipeline and /call-list (find prospects that look like your best customers and write outreach in your voice), /marketing-monday (what worked, what customers are saying, what competitors changed).
There are also proposals, social content, review management, hiring screens, contract review and a skill called seo-ai-visibility. Every workflow can be scheduled to run on its own at times you choose.
The one thing worth copying: it waits for you
Anthropic's own sentence:
Every workflow starts in approval mode. Claude drafts the work and stages it, then waits for your OK.
Once you trust a workflow you can switch it to run automatically, one workflow at a time, and switch it back whenever you like.
Some workflows stop short of the last step altogether. Payroll is prepared up to the point where you press submit, and the solutions page is blunter: "Claude doesn't file anything for you."
This matches the rule we use to run our own company: hand over what is reversible and keep what is irreversible in human hands. A wrong payment, post or filing cannot be fixed by running it again. A large vendor drawing that line as the default, rather than leaving users to find a switch, is the call in this release we think is most worth copying.
How much connects in Taiwan
Checking the 37 connectors against conditions in Taiwan gives three piles.
Confirmed not to serve Taiwanese merchants (each tool's own documentation):

Common in Taiwan but missing from the list: LINE, ECPay, Shopee, Taiwan e-invoicing, JKOPAY, 91APP, Shopline. None of them. Technically you could wire them up yourself with its build-connector through Zapier, but then it is not an official integration and nobody else is responsible when it breaks.
Global general-purpose tools: Gmail, Google Calendar and Drive, Microsoft 365, Notion, Slack, Zoom, Canva, HubSpot, Trello, monday.com, Zapier and so on. These are global services and we did not check each one's Taiwan availability documentation, so this is a common-sense inference. Workflows that depend on them, such as replying to enquiries, writing proposals, making social content and weekly marketing reports, should connect in theory.
So, reading from the connector list: the marketing, customer-service and document half should connect in theory, while for the payments, payroll, invoicing and tax half the vendors' documentation says Taiwan is not supported. The first half is an inference, since we have not run it on a Taiwanese account. The second half is what we found documented. And that second half is exactly where the weightiest workflows sit: month-end close, bill payment, payroll and tax.
What we could not confirm: Xero's availability in Taiwan (its documentation gave no clear statement), whether the plugin itself has regional restrictions, and how well the interface and workflows handle Traditional Chinese. None of the official pages say, so neither do we.
Money and data
Money: the plugin is free but needs a paid plan. According to the US pricing page, Pro is $20 a month (about $17 a month billed annually), Max starts at $100 a month, and Team standard seats are $25 per seat per month billed annually, all excluding tax. Anthropic recommends Team for multi-person companies. The Cowork page also says it "uses more of your usage allowance than chat", so heavy scheduling will run into limits first.
Data: Anthropic says the plugin "respects the permissions you already have" in each tool, so anything an employee cannot see in QuickBooks or Drive they cannot see through Claude either. Read the training sentence carefully: the announcement says Team and Enterprise plans by default do not train on business data. Pro and Max are individual plans, where model training is a setting you can opt out of, not something off by default.
One tutorial page says "Anthropic doesn't train Claude on your business data" without naming a plan, which conflicts with the announcement. In that case go by your plan's terms. If you install the plugin on Pro and connect bookkeeping data, check the training setting first.
Should you install it
If your business runs mostly on Google or Microsoft office tools, manages customers in HubSpot or Notion, and you want to hand off things like missed evening enquiries or not knowing what to tackle first on Monday, it is worth trying, and the approval mode keeps the cost of mistakes low.
If you expect it to reconcile accounts, pay bills, run payroll or issue invoices, it cannot do that in Taiwan today. That is not because it is not smart enough. The tools on its list do not operate in Taiwan.

Most payments and payroll tools on the list do not serve Taiwan: Stripe and Square do not list Taiwan as a supported region, Shopify Payments is not available in Taiwan, and Gusto is a US payroll system. LINE, ECPay, Shopee and Taiwan e-invoicing are not on the list.
Will it pay bills or publish posts on its own?
Not by default. Anthropic states that every workflow starts in approval mode: Claude drafts and stages the work, then waits for the owner's OK before sending, publishing or paying. You can switch individual workflows to run automatically and switch them back at any time. Payroll stops before the final submit, which the owner does in Gusto, and Claude does not file anything for you.
Will my business data be used for training?
